Trendradar – How to boost sales with customer feedback?

2 Min.

Online workshop on November 23, 2021:
Trend radar in sight!

How about being able to spot future trends simply by “scanning” large amounts of data on the Internet, “grabbing” key fragments from it, and then assembling it into holistic information? – that Startup Insaas.ai has used exactly this method to create their trend radar. This is so well fed that it can provide companies, organisations or institutions with valid information on new developments in consumer markets, but also in B2B exchanges. We at 2be can build on this data pool with our services and turn the benefits of such information into successful sales campaigns.

Intelligent collaborations like these were the topic of our joint online workshop, which took place on November 23 with Dr. Korbinian Spann , CEO of Insaas.ai GmbH and Matthias Brinkmann, Managing Director of 2be – die Markenmacher as a hybrid event. The “MS Teams” format, which we used as a platform for this purpose, again proved to be a reliable tool for facilitating relaxed communication between all participants. A short company presentation of Insaas.ai was followed by many best-practice examples of products and services. The next three quarters of an hour were then available for customer topics around the topic “Trend radar – How to boost sales with customer feedback”.

Ample time was also taken for an exciting round of “Breakout”: All participants were randomly distributed in small groups to different online rooms and were able to introduce themselves and their business – an exciting exchange and opportunities for collaboration could be discussed and used in a relaxed manner in this way.

Again and again: inspiring!

Online workshop with BF/M

< 1 Min.

The Betriebswirtschaftliche Forschungszentrum für Fragen der mittelständischen Wirtschaft e. V.(BF/M) has been able to position itself strategically at the Universität Bayreuth between university research and education on the one hand and SME entrepreneurship on the other and has recently recommended itself as a successful “hub” for start-ups. The BF/M also took on this function in the implementation of an online workshop on the extended topic of “capital meets innovation” (or vice versa) in which potential investors such as “start-uppers” took part and which was moderated by 2be managing director Matthias Brinkmann.

This time, however, the topic of the lively online discussion was primarily the role of the mediator and moderator between innovation and capital providers.

  • What function does it have to assume in the ideal case?
  • From which side – private equity or new companies – do the impulses come from?
  • And above all: How can intermediaries be remunerated in such a way that a possible business cooperation, supported in the best possible way, can be advanced?

Use the event module consistently!

2 Min.

It is well known that not only joint participation, but also joint organization of events promotes the development of personal (business) relationships. The fact that there has recently been a lot of catching up to do for virological reasons makes the matter all the more urgent for all of us. We all need to exchange ideas with one another in order to feed each other with new ideas, and of course we would be delighted if the accelerator pedal can soon be pressed again in offline mode.

Becoming a book author: how do I do it right?

< 1 Min.

With all the video (shooting) or audio (recording) it is easy to forget that books (making) have never really gone out of fashion either. Despite digital overkill: people are still busy writing, revising, editing and publishing. Whether it will actually be read by others depends largely on how well the author masters his craft.

Annual general meeting quer.kraft

How can start-ups and mentors best benefit from each other?

The date for the annual general meeting of quer.kraft – der Innovationsverein e. V. is today, this year on 12 October. Of the sixty or so member companies and institutions, a total of almost one hundred and fifty participants were present – half of them connected online via Microsoft Teams.

Our 2021 post this time was about “Start-up mentoring: how to do it right?”, specifically, “What functions can the relationship between mentors and mentees perform so that both sides can benefit?”

In this context Michael Herz and 2be managing director Matthias Brinkmann moderated experiences of start-ups and Querkraft members different experiences, needs and wishes on the topic of mentoring. Present as sparring partners were fellow makers such as Frederic Kaul from Acalta, Dr. Korbinian Spann from Insaas, Hendryk Knuth from Motivo1, ….. The core questions alone generated lively feedback: Why and in what way do start-ups need the support of mentors with financial or industry experience? What necessary input can they provide here? But also: In what way do mentors benefit from advising start-up companies in terms of networking and expanding their industry knowledge?

More than just a detail: We successfully organized our presentation as a “hybrid workshop”. This means that the participants on site were able to “plug in” directly with their laptops and thus post their questions and comments during the lecture on an on-site pinboard and online whiteboard.

Interested mentors and mentees are welcome to contact us, there will certainly be follow-up workshops and a mentoring system for members and startups.

Online seminar “Sales” – in cooperation with FAU

Highly innovative, enormously motivated, permanently ready for action: these are three substantial characteristics of start-up companies. In addition, there is usually a wealth of know-how regarding the core contents of one’s own business. Why many promising start-ups nevertheless fail to get their ideas onto the ramp and from there towards customers can be summed up in one word: Sales.
