Even if the human mind is not missing as a last resort: the quality of machine translation programs is advancing inexorably. As a positive consequence, new opportunities are emerging in terms of the speed with which global business can be conducted today.

Most recently, the translation aid DeepL from the Cologne-based company of the same name has made a name for itself here, especially in German-speaking countries. DeepL is now also available as a plugin that can be used to translate entire websites (in WordPress or Typo3, for example) fully automatically. A total of 72 translation combinations are possible here with nine different languages – and at an annual cost of less than 1000Euro. Especially for small or medium-sized companies this offers the possibility to offer their products always up-to-date in a global context with relatively low costs and time expenditure.
