Dear partners, customers and friends of 2be, the year 2024 is drawing to a close – time to pause, look back and, above all, say thank you! Together with you, we were able to implement exciting projects, realize creative ideas and bring brands to life this year. Your loyalty, trust and collaboration on an equal footing have enriched our year and allowed us to grow as a team!

But before we dive into Christmas coziness, we’d like to share our festive marathon with you – or as we say: a day full of mulled wine, presents and sore laughing muscles 😉

We started with the gift-giving in the office, accompanied by mulled wine, which brought us up to operating temperature. Then it was off to the hotpot meal! A paradise for all those who like to burn their mouths with spicy delicacies (in a positive sense, of course). The crowning finale was at the Nuremberg Christmas market. Lights, roasted almonds and – you guessed it – even more mulled wine. A perfect mix of Christmas magic and team spirit.

Because it was so much fun last year and received such a great response, it quickly became clear to us that we would repeat this special campaign! Together with our partner AD IT Systems, we continued our new tradition and lovingly wrapped delicious gingerbread greetings again this year. These little gifts were sent to our partners and customers with a lot of heart. Of course, a campaign like this is not complete without enjoying them together! With mulled wine and sweet Christmas treats, we not only strengthened our stomachs, but also our team spirit. It’s moments like these that bring us closer together as a team and make the magic of Christmas tangible.

More than just a team event: doing good for a good cause

However, this campaign was not just a team-building event, but also our contribution to several good causes. Every pack of gingerbread sent out supports the Ladies’ Circle 30 Nuremberg charity campaign. And here we go again: As already reported, we have been a member of the Rabbit Hole Group since the middle of the year. Matthias is now also taking on the role of Head of Sales Department and, together with the entire 2be team, is bringing his many years of expertise and extensive experience in brand management to the “Sales” to optimize their customer relationships and sales processes. We pursue a strategic approach to offer customers not just products, but real solutions that create long-term added value. Matthias will play an active role in shaping the sales department, drawing on the expertise and creativity of 2be. In particular, the interdisciplinary cooperation between the two teams will ensure that customers receive individual support and the best possible service at every step of their journey.

Back in September, Matthias attended the Rabbit Hole Group’s annual meeting in Belgrade, where he had the opportunity to familiarize himself intensively with the team and the strategic goals of the Rabbit Hole Group. As reported, 2be_die markenmacher has been a proud member of the internationally operating ‘Rabbit Hole’ group of companies since mid-2024. Rabbit Hole is characterised by an extensive, IT-based service portfolio that relies on the expertise of highly specialised professionals.

At our 2024 annual meeting in the Serbian metropolis of Belgrade, it became clear that the ‘Together we are stronger’ concept works extremely well! There is increasing demand for Rabbit Hole’s services, which underlines the consistently high quality. The integration of our sales and brand development services also contributed significantly to our success.

Matthias Brinkmann from 2be was on site in Belgrade together with Anton Dollmaier from AD IT Systems GmbH to promote intensive dialogue with our co-specialists and provide new impetus for further development. Since our relatively recent membership, we have been able to participate in several major projects and obtain the best feedback from our clients, which has significantly strengthened our visibility and position in the market.

Development and optimism for the future

Rabbit Hole’s annual meeting, which took place from 19 to 22 September at the Mama Shelter Belgrade hotel, was a complete success. In addition to the ongoing development of the group of companies, which now has 255 employees, it provided ample opportunity for intensive dialogue with our co-specialists. As a small souvenir, each participant received a pin with famous Nuremberg sights, our home town. This exchange not only contributed to the further development of our own expertise, but also gave us plenty of optimism for future sales opportunities and joint brand development. We are ready to further expand our network and increase the visibility of Rabbit Hole and 2be_die markenmacher!

Odoo17 in focus: Intensive discussion round with AI and new app functions

Our recent meeting brought together partners, current Odoo users and potential customers to discuss the latest version of Odoo,
Odoo 17
in depth. This version stands out in particular thanks to innovations in the field of artificial intelligence and enhanced app functions that have the potential to fundamentally transform the sales sector. Despite Odoo’s reputation as a comprehensive open source ERP system, our meeting focused primarily on customer relationship management (CRM) and the optimization of sales campaigns.

Matthias Brinkmann
shared his practical sales experience. The discussion was moderated by two participants from
Manatec
who work as project managers and contributed valuable insights from their direct application experience. Experienced customers also commented on the best ways to use the system in their companies.

Networking was a key element of our meeting. In this context, we have decided to set up an Odoo User Group to share best practices, programming knowledge and information about the best apps. Another event is already being planned, this time possibly focusing on the Odoo 17 project app to deepen our knowledge and share practical experiences.

More performance with us and our partner: Raidboxes 2.0 goes live!

The time has finally come: Our partner Raidboxes is getting serious and is releasing the launch of a completely new server infrastructure!

The first advantage is the enormous performance boost for all Raidboxes customers and partners. This applies in particular to all new Starter, Fully Managed and Pro Boxes. The introduction of the new server architecture doubles the resources. Starter and Fully Managed Boxes then run with 2 cores and 4 GB RAM, Pro Boxes with 4 cores and 8 GB RAM.

Advantage two is no less important, but ideally works inconspicuously in the background. This is because additional security features are added to the existing security features that protect the applications. The Raidboxes Security Shield is set up so that each box is protected by a web application firewall. The newly installed Exploit Detector checks all new pages for suspicious scripts and files and automatically fends off Raidboxes “DDoS protection” attacks.

With the go-live in March, all newly installed Mini, Starter, Fully Managed and Pro Boxes will run on the new servers. The first wave of relocations of the existing boxes will then follow in the second quarter of 2024. For existing Raidboxes customers, too, the relocation does not entail any additional costs. You automatically benefit from the increased performance and the new safety features.

2 teams = 1 mission: Gingerbread campaign for a good cause!

At 2be_die markenmacher, the Christmas season is all about community, commitment and, of course, lots of fun. This year, together with our partner and customer AD IT Systems, we have come up with something very special to surprise other people and do something good at the same time. With enthusiasm and team spirit, we set about lovingly packaging delicious gingerbread greetings and sending them on their way to our valued partners and customers as small tokens of appreciation.

Together we packed over 100 parcels, which were proudly taken to the post office by the boss himself at the end of the day. A real team success that shows how much you can achieve together when you work hand in hand. And why did we have a lot of fun while we were working? Because we sweetened the joint event with an exuberant atmosphere, delicious mulled wine, homemade cakes and lots of bad jokes.

At 2be_die markenmacher, we firmly believe that such joint activities not only strengthen our team culture, but also deepen our connection to customers and the community. This time, it’s also something special, because with every pack of gingerbread you buy, you can simply help others and make them happy.
