COiDEALISTS in Crailsheim: Thinking Ideas Through Together

3 Min.

How do new projects actually come about? Usually not through endless video conferences or email lists, but when dedicated people sit down together, share their ideas, and brainstorm what might come of them.

That was exactly what the recent meeting of the COiDEALISTEN in Crailsheim. About one-third of the association’s members—nine participants in all—met on-site at the extraordinary TamieH building, a sustainable construction project by Leonard Weiss, which was constructed largely from reused materials and also offers career opportunities to people with refugee backgrounds. Other members joined online and also participated in the discussions.

Greater visibility for the club

A key focus of the meeting was further developing the association’s public image. Together, the group designed new business cards, banners, referral cards, and the first Canvatemplates were presented and discussed. The goal is to provide all members with simple tools to make the association even more visible at events, presentations, and in personal conversations. The group also discussed which events the COiDEALISTEN would like to attend in the future, where banners could be used effectively, and how to further increase both membership and joint activities.

The presentation of new project ideas from the network was particularly exciting. Walter Notar presented his plan to establish a virtual energy hub in Wunsiedel. The goal: to interconnect smart storage solutions and thereby support a sustainable energy supply. It quickly became clear that there is enormous potential here for interdisciplinary collaboration within the COiDEALISTEN—and the question was immediately on everyone’s mind: Who wants to join in?

We, too, are actively involved. Together with Anton Dollmaier and Thorsten Lührs, we are currently working on a potential company acquisition and are using our network to share experiences, expertise, and ideas with one another at an early stage. That is exactly why the association was founded: to bring people together who want to achieve more together than they could on their own.

To ensure that good ideas don’t get lost between meetings, the new platform myCommunity.digital was introduced. It is intended to serve as the association’s central hub in the future. There, projects can be presented, events organized, ideas discussed, content shared, and members can network with one another. At the same time, all members receive their own access and can actively contribute content to the platform. The goal is to keep the exchange lively even between in-person meetings and to facilitate the formation of new collaborations more quickly.

Face-to-face encounters remain priceless

After the official portion of the program, there was plenty of time for conversations and group tours in Crailsheim. Among other places, the group visited the Feuchter company as well as the Waldorf School were on the itinerary—places where, without the network, we probably would never have gained such a personal insight.

Our personal takeaway from the day: As valuable as digital tools may be, they can’t replace real-life interactions. Often, the best ideas don’t come from the conference room, but from casual conversations in between. It’s precisely this openness, mutual trust, and willingness to explore new paths together that define the Coidealists.

Innovation & sales: international success together

2 Min.

Success in innovation is primarily based on two pillars: the progress that the newly developed product brings with it and the sales channel that is used to consistently market the new product. The fact that many valuable innovation approaches in companies fall by the wayside is primarily due to the fact that sales and innovation do not communicate enough with each other.

Promoting synergies between development and sales

In order to pave the way here and to be able to transfer these into best-practice examples, we have set up our working group “Sales campaign in the innovation process“, we have brought together an exclusive group of participants from both the development and sales departments of various companies. Our basic topic:

How do we succeed – from the initial idea to the finished product – in making an innovation process as lean and targeted as possible through mutual communication and cooperation?

As part of a perspective event on October 23, 2024, the focus was primarily on the possibilities of such sales-innovation collaborations, especially from the perspective of globally operating companies. The questions we asked ourselves in this context covered a considerable range:

  • How can we – possibly from here – contribute to maximizing the promotion of innovation processes at other locations, including those abroad?
  • What processes need to be established there?
  • For example, how can the communication and social media channels there be opened up for this?
  • How can further progress be made within the company?

Successful results through joint solutions

The all-round positive: once again, all participants were able to benefit from the answers we came up with to these and other questions!

Increase sales success and visibility

At our 2024 annual meeting in the Serbian metropolis of Belgrade, it became clear that the ‘Together we are stronger’ concept works extremely well! There is increasing demand for Rabbit Hole’s services, which underlines the consistently high quality. The integration of our sales and brand development services also contributed significantly to our success.

Matthias Brinkmann from 2be was on site in Belgrade together with Anton Dollmaier from AD IT Systems GmbH to promote intensive dialogue with our co-specialists and provide new impetus for further development. Since our relatively recent membership, we have been able to participate in several major projects and obtain the best feedback from our clients, which has significantly strengthened our visibility and position in the market.

Development and optimism for the future

Rabbit Hole’s annual meeting, which took place from 19 to 22 September at the Mama Shelter Belgrade hotel, was a complete success. In addition to the ongoing development of the group of companies, which now has 255 employees, it provided ample opportunity for intensive dialogue with our co-specialists. As a small souvenir, each participant received a pin with famous Nuremberg sights, our home town. This exchange not only contributed to the further development of our own expertise, but also gave us plenty of optimism for future sales opportunities and joint brand development. We are ready to further expand our network and increase the visibility of Rabbit Hole and 2be_die markenmacher!

AI for writing texts: Try it – check it – decide!

2 Min.

There is still a big question mark over the applicability of artificial intelligence in text creation and editing – and with good reason. The differences, both in terms of applications and users, are considerable. In contrast, the performance of AI text software such as
ChatGPT
achieves.

In order to find out to what extent AI can support the writing of texts, the only really useful decision-making aid is to carry out a series of tests with regard to the use of different media formats.

  • Can AI serve as a valuable research tool for this?
  • Is it possibly useful as a creative stimulus, as an inspirational aid?
  • Does it manage to make text creation easier by providing structural or formulation guidelines?
  • Or is it now even capable of formulating entire texts or blocks of text that then only need to be checked for consistency of content?

Lots of questions to which we can always provide valid answers in close cooperation with our customers and partners – as the result of a joint workshop or a series of tests that we can offer you for different occasions or different formats.

As a result, you know exactly what you’re getting into with the text AI!

Collaboratively developing the brand

2 Min.

Brand development and brand enhancement are collaborative processes whose goals can only be achieved through the closest possible cooperation between brand owner and external partner.

The decisive factor for success is always the “how”. Absolute trust forms the basis for ensuring that the jointly set goals can always be achieved within the planned time frame. This means that if the customer is pressed for time, for example due to a busy schedule or competing tasks, they must have confidence in the service provider to take over and drive the process forward autonomously. The only possible alternative to this is to stop the process for a short time and adjust the targets in terms of time.

Matthias and Kathrin meeting and discussing the next brand wall

To ensure that such “takeover situations” remain the exception, we have expanded the collaborative aspect in such a way that a permanent and, above all, transparent flow of work and information is guaranteed. This is done in particular by:

  • Simultaneous planning and implementation of upcoming brand development tasks.
  • Consistent documentation and transparency in digital project management.
  • Realistic scheduling and regular “2-hour jour fixes” to coordinate and understand current tasks.
  • Presentation of work or communication processes in order to continuously improve them together.

Regular steering committee meeting with all those involved on site

Only a clear distribution of tasks, a transparent schedule and trust in the team will allow the project and the team to remain successful.
