Fall Festival at workspaceIn Seelevel in Nuremberg

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to have a great Friday afternoon: good food, cold drinks, relaxing music, the right people—and, of course, good weather. At the fall festival hosted by workspaceIn Seelevel , all of that came together. And even though fall was already just around the corner, luckily it stayed dry—except for a few scattered drops—and we were able to enjoy the afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere.

A wide variety of people gathered around the grill. Among them were neighbors from the immediate area, customers and partners, familiar faces, as well as a few newcomers. It was a wonderful mix that quickly led to conversations breaking out everywhere, new connections being made, and existing relationships being strengthened.

Networking Without Any Agenda

What we especially like about these kinds of events is that there’s no set agenda, no presentations, and no prearranged discussion sessions. People come together, get to know one another, and naturally discover common topics of conversation. So that afternoon wasn’t just about eating and raising a glass—it was, above all, about building connections. A quick “hello” often turned into a longer conversation—about current projects, local businesses, mutual contacts, or ideas for potential collaborations.

And, of course, the topic of coworking was a must at a party at workspaceIn.

A few interested visitors took the opportunity to take a closer look at the space. We were able to give them an impromptu tour of the coworking space, show them the workspaces and what the space has to offer, and answer their questions in a relaxed and informal way. After all, you still get the best sense of what it’s really like to work in a coworking space when you’re there in person.

Above all, though, the Fall Festival was exactly what it was meant to be: a relaxed and lively way to wrap up a busy week. With delicious food and a great atmosphere, there was plenty of time to chat with one another—away from meetings, emails, and to-do lists. For us, it’s always a wonderful reminder of how important personal interaction is—especially in an age when so much happens digitally.

After all, a casual conversation at a barbecue can lead to a new connection. A new connection might spark an idea. And an idea could eventually turn into a joint project.
